Read.me File for Vision.exe ver. 1.0 5-3-92
If you keep the mode files you have created with FS4 in a
separate directory such as C:\FS4\MODE and have configured
VISION to find your mode files in this directory, be sure
that you copy any new mode files you create with FS4 to the
C:\FS4\MODE directory before selecting a flight path with
VISION. VISION will delete all mode files in the FS4
directory before it moves in the mode file configured for the
".VIS" file you select.
VISION will NOT delete mode files in the FS4 directory if the
SETPATH configuration for mode files is the same as the
SETPATH configuration for the FS4 program. i.e. Store MOD
files in the same directory where FS4 resides.
Put all of the ASD Static scenery files that you intend to
develop flight plan .VIS files for in the C:\FS4\STATIC sub
directory. Do the same for Dynamic files (C:\FS4\DYNAMIC).
Do the same for Mode files IF kept in a separate directory
from FS4 (C:\FS4\MODE).
If you have problems, make sure you have input the correct
paths for the various files with the SETPATH option in
VISION.
